Praia da Areia Branca is south of Peniche. It is a beautiful sand beach with no rocks anywhere. There can be some currents when the tides change: best is to go out with the tide going up else there is strong current and you easily loose 2 knots speed. Wave riding is difficult, the waves can be very big.
